Recap by phillip woo

Well-punted late to jump favourite, Mount Victory found a nice position in midfield and one off the fence, swung the final bend five wide and out-dueled Sunny Sky over the final 100m to prevail by a nose. Sunny Sky was handy in the run in fifth and one off the rails, cornered in four deep, hit the front 200m out and just failed to fend off the winner. Full Value was switched off second from the rear and three deep from a wide alley, forced widest out at the final bend by Chantilly and finished up willingly to overhaul that one 60m out for third. Precocious sort's racing consistently well and still has another win coming. Chantilly bided his time third from the rear and just off the paint from a wide gate, pushed into the clear with one further out upon straightening and went to the line reasonably well. Early favourite King Galileo settled behind midfield and two deep, cornered six off the rails and made some ground late without menacing. Medic Champion led for a good part before handing up to Ferrabosco at the 1,200m, reclaimed the front 400m out and was running on empty 100m out. Noble Flier settled behind midfield and on the rails, straightened three deep and only held his ground in the dash to the wire with every chance.

He said because of this, after coming under pressure rounding the Home Turn, SUPREME TYCOON was not able to finish off its race.
