Recap by phillip woo

Indigo Way settled behind midfield and one off the fence, rounded the final bend with three wider out and ran on willingly to get up 30m from the line for the victory with a move to side-winkers. Firming favourite Turbo Jewellery went forward from a wide gate to eventually find cover one-out, one-back behind the steady pace of Noble Boy, worked to the lead four deep at the 250m and whacked on rather one-paced over the last 100m to just hold Hei Hei Posh by the slimmest of margins for second. Hei Hei Posh enjoyed the box-seat run, straightened one off the fence and kept on gamely, despite a step into Class Three. Sunshine Day settled midfield and on the rails, straightened three deep, shifted outside a tiring Noble Boy at the 200m and kept on all right to fill the frame a non-threatening fourth. Super Tiger settled second from the rear and one off the fence, peeled into the clear with one wider out at the 300m and ran on steadily without threatening. Ming Hoi Treasure made his run at the rear, stayed to the inside upon straightening and was getting going late when the race was all but over. He'll have to be kept safe with a drop in grade.

Racing Incident Report

Race Seven: (340)-WONG NAI CHUNG HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1800 Metres From wide barriers, VICTORY MASCOT and REGENCY WINNER were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.

Passing the winning post on the first occasion, SUNSHINE DAY momentarily raced tight inside INDIGO WAY which itself was crowded for room inside GOODVIEW SUCCESSOR.

Rounding the Home Turn, VICTORY MASCOT was awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUNSHINE DAY.

In the early part of the Straight, FORTUNE WINNER, which was commencing to give ground, got its head on the side and shifted in.

In the Straight, HEI HEI POSH (U Rispoli) got its head on the side and shifted out under pressure and passing the 100 Metres shifted out across the running of NOBLE BOY which was steadied and shifted in.

U Rispoli was severely reprimanded and advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mount.

For the majority of the race, GOODVIEW SUCCESSOR travelled wide and without cover.

A veterinary inspection of HEAR THE ROAR and FORTUNE WINNER after the race did not show any significant findings.

INDIGO WAY and TURBO JEWELLERY were sent for sampling.
