Recap by phillip woo

Punted late, Danewin Tiger settled behind midfield and two one off the fence with cover, swung the final bend with two wider out, swept to the front 150m out and just held off the late surge of Supreme Hong Kong for the win. Supreme Hong Kong made his run second from the rear after a sluggish break, shifted out from a wall of horses into the clear with one wider out at the 200m and finished up willingly to make it a thriller at the finish. Flying China made his run third from the rear and three deep, rounded the final bend with two wider out, had to steady off heels at the 250m and let down nicely when regaining his momentum to run down late-fancied Nobody But You in the shadows of the post for third. Nobody But You was prominent in the run with cover three deep, rounded the final bend five wide, worked to second at the 100m and kept on gamely. Hearts Keeper just lost a placing in the dying stages. Maroon Prince kept plugging away without menacing over the last 100m.

Shortly after the start, NOBODY BUT YOU shifted out and bumped FIERY RAIDER.

Despite being ridden along in the early stages, SUPREME HONG KONG failed to muster speed.

After the 1000 Metres, HEARTS KEEPER was awkwardly placed close to the heels of REGENCY CHAMPION.

Approaching the 600 Metres, MAROON PRINCE got its head on the side, shifted out and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of NOBODY BUT YOU.

Shortly after entering the Straight, FLYING CHINA was hampered when taken out by SUPREME HONG KONG (U Rispoli) which shifted out.
