Recap by phillip woo

Mr Marfach settled three back and one off the rails, got going 500m out, straightened with three wider out and got up 100m out for the win with money coming for him late. Humongus settled behind midfield along the fence, cornered three deep and finished up well to grab favourite Starlit Warrior in the final few metres for second. Favourite Starlit Warrior enjoyed the dream run along the rails in third, advanced to the front one off at the 150m and found a couple too smart in the end. Infinite Courage enjoyed an easy time on the front, cornered just under a length on top and grudgingly gave way when headed. Secretary Of State was able to slot in without cover third from the rear from a wide alley, swung the final bend furthest out and ran on steadily to finish level for fourth. Viva Guy settled behind midfield and one off the paint, turned the final bend with two wider out and kept up a steady gallop late to just finish out of the First-4. Punted late, Mobile King jumped well to occupy a spot one-out, one-back, despite being restless in the stalls, straightened five deep and only got going under the whip 150m out in another disappointing effort. Mizzen Grey went forward to settle second in the run outside Infinite Courage, straightened four deep under the whip and was giving ground passing the 200m with every chance.

Racing Incident Report

Race Two: (410)-KWAI CHUNG HANDICAP - Class 5 - 1800Metres

MOBILE KING was difficult to load and then after being loaded became fractious.

Before being allowed to race again, MOBILE KING will be required to perform satisfactorily in an official barrier trial.

ROYAL KNIGHT began awkwardly.

From wide barriers, ALL MY GLORY and GOLD FORTUNE were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.

Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, HUMONGUS raced tight inside VIVA GUY (D Whyte) for some distance.

D Whyte was advised to exercise care when shifting ground.

Passing the winning post on the first occasion, ALL MY GLORY got its head on the side and lost ground when being checked away from the heels of GOLD FORTUNE.

After the 500 Metres, STARLIT WARRIOR and MOBILE KING raced tight inside MR MARFACH which was racing in restricted room inside GOLD FORTUNE which was commencing to give ground.

At the entrance to the Straight, MOBILE KING and MR MARFACH raced tight as MOBILE KING shifted out to obtain clear running.

A veterinary inspection of MIZZEN GREY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

STARLIT WARRIOR, MR MARFACH and HUMONGUS were sent for sampling.
