Recap by phillip woo

Why Not settled second from the rear near the inside, turned the final bend three deep, angled into the clear six deep at the 200m and finished up willingly to collar Wonderful Moments close to home for the win. Wonderful Moments travelled third and one off the rails from a wide gate, narrowly hit the front 150m out and found one better on the day with a step up to the mile. Snitzel Kid travelled a distant second behind the leader Chancellor, drew level for the front at the 250m and kept on gamely to inject further value into tierce calculations. Jaeger Bomb settled behind midfield and one off the rails, swung the final bend four deep, forced wider out at the 200m by Why Not and ran on steadily to fill the frame.
