Valley and Kowloon advance to the grand championship decider with contrasting wins on the penultimate weekend of the season

The top two teams after the minor round are into the Hong Kong Premiership grand championship decider, with Societe Generale Valley and Kowloon both returning from a week’s rest to post victories.

Valley was the first to progress, overcoming a stern early test from Natixis HKFC to win 27-14, while a length-of-the-field try to Jack Neville saw Kowloon pip Borrelli Walsh USRC Tigers 21-15.
