King George V girls romped home 41-0 in the final against Sha Tin College/Discovery College to win their third consecutive Standard Chartered Bill Williams Schools Sevens title at King’s Park on Friday.

KGV and Shatin were the class teams of the tournament, finishing first and second in the single round-robin phase of the girls competition to advance to the final.

KGV amassed 121 points in their round-robin matches, conceding just 15 points.

Shatin posted 108 for to 17 against, with their only loss in the qualifying rounds a narrow 12-10 reversal at the hands of KGV.

KGV were unstoppable in the title decider, demolishing their opponents 41-0 to keep their perfect title-winning record intact after winning the first two editions of the Bill Williams tournament after the girls competition was introduced during the 2013-14 season.

In the battle of the boys, Hong Kong International School powered through their pool B matches – recording a 90-for, 22-against points tally in four wins to finish first ahead of Island School and KGV.
