Legendary All Black winger Jonah Lomu returned to Hong Kong for the first time in almost 10 years to enjoy the festivities on Sunday.

No other player left an impact quite like Lomu.

When the 1.96 metre giant had the ball, no one stood a chance.

"It's great to be back," said Lomu, 38, who played for New Zealand in three Hong Kong Sevens from 1994 to 1996.

Although the "human beast" was unstoppable in his day, kidney disease plagued him for most of his adult life and cut short his international rugby career.

These days he's "feeling great", but is happy sitting on the other side of the fence, between speaking engagements, commercial endorsements and his online store.
