World Cup Diary | World Cup diary: Neymar's face the latest must-have haircut in the favelas
Three hours and US$45 to get star shaved into the back of your bonce

The World Cup's been a boon for anyone with an entreprenuerial spirit in Brazil's favelas, with barber Marcelo Ferreira among those cashing in.
AFP visited the shop where he works in between two favelas in Rio, where 14 barbers work seven days a week. Twenty-two-year-old 'craque' Ferreira will customise the "jaca cut" - named after a nearby slum - with Neymar's face, the Brazil flag and other tournament-related designs, all painstakingly cut into the hair on the back of customers' heads.

“When I took the subway [after the first cut], people asked where I got it and the barbershop’s phone number. I had a lot of success with the girls,” he told AFP.
The do takes three hours to cut and costs US$45, a fair old sum in the favelas.
“Some clients want their hair cut like Messi’s. Others like Cristiano Ronaldo. But what I like the most is drawing Neymar,” Ferreira told AFP.
