Barcelona’s dramatic 2-1 victory over Bayer Leverkusen with two quick goals late on will prove a boost for the team as they adjust to life without Lionel Messi, says coach Luis Enrique.
The Catalan team were on course for what would have been only their second home defeat in 34 matches in the Champions League when substitute Sergi Roberto equalised 10 minutes from time and Luis Suarez hit the winner two minutes later.
Elsewhere, Bayern’s Robert Lewandowski scored a hat-trick – his 10th goal in three games – as they beat Dinamo Zagreb 5-0.

"It was a difficult game, they had chances and played well," Luis Enrique said.
"We worked hard and the result is a boost for us. Certainly the way it happened there is no doubt that this will spur us on and I am very happy."
Barcelona were without Messi through injury and Luis Enrique was happy the way the team responded.
"Sometimes you win due to belief, sometimes through spirit and others through confidence," he said.

"Leverkusen had their chances, it was a difficult night. We were without our best player and this result says a lot about the team against a side that never allowed us a second on the ball.
"We were a lot better in the second half and I am happy the way the team always gives its all. We may not have been at our best but the players always gave everything."
The bad news for Barca was a hamstring injury for Andres Iniesta and reports suggest he could be out for three weeks.

With Roma sent on their way 3-2 by BATE Borisov it left Barca shading Group E.
Arsenal have lost both their games and next up is a visit to free-shooting Bayern.
Pep Guardiola’s side are cruising towards the knockout stages after Lewandowski’s treble, and goals from Douglas Costa and Mario Goetze steamrollered Dinamo Zagreb 5-0.
“We played in a very concentrated fashion from the start and when you take your goal chances, the game was over after 30 minutes,” said Bayern captain Philipp Lahm.

In an explosive first half in which Bayern were 4-0 up inside half an hour, the Poland striker, who scored five in nine minutes against VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga, struck twice in seven minutes.
"He is having an amazing run and an unbelievable week behind him," Lahm said. "A striker like Lewandowski doesn’t need any prodding. He could be even more dangerous than last season."
"I want to congratulate my players for tonight," Bayern coach Pep Guardiola said. "They had a top performance. With [wingers] Douglas Costa and Kingsley Coman our game is much better. Robert and Thomas [Mueller] have much more space in the middle.

"Now we are off to the Oktoberfest and then we will start thinking about Borussia Dortmund on the weekend," he added referring to their top-of-the-table Bundesliga clash.
Meanwhile, Zenit St Petersburg remained unbeaten with a 2-1 home win over Belgian outfit Gent to top Group H from Valencia, 1-0 winners at Lyon.

Wednesday’s menu features the two Manchester clubs, United and City, against Vfl Wolfsburg and Borussia Moenchengladbach, while Real Madrid are in Malmo and Paris Saint-Germain have a tricky assignment away to Shakhtar Donetsk.
