Crystal Palace – prediction 13th, finished 11th
Everton – prediction 7th, finished 8th
Huddersfield Town – prediction 19th, finished 16th
Leicester City – prediction 8th, finished 9th
Liverpool – prediction 5th, finished 4th
Manchester City – prediction 2nd, finished 1st
Manchester United – prediction 4th, finished 2nd
Newcastle United – prediction 16th, finished 10th
Southampton – prediction 9th, finished 17th
Stoke City – prediction 10th, finished 19th
Swansea City – prediction 15th, finished 18th
Tottenham Hotspur – prediction 3rd, finished 3rd
Watford – prediction 17th, finished 14th
West Bromwich Albion – prediction 14th, finished 20th
West Ham United – prediction 11th, finished 13th
Three out of 20 teams correctly predicted. A grand total of 68 league places wrong for the remaining 17 teams. Not one of the promoted teams went down – we predicted two would – and Burnley finished in the European rather than the relegation places.
