Andy Murray gets royal seal of approval
Wimbledon champion receives an OBE from Prince William, but he nearly didn't make it to the ceremony after being held up by a random drug test

After winning two grand slam tennis titles and an Olympic gold medal, Andy Murray now has the royal seal of approval.
Murray received an OBE from Prince William on Thursday, having been awarded the distinction in Britain’s Queen Elizabeth’s New Year’s honours list after his victories at the US Open and London Olympics last year.
The Scot then won Wimbledon three months ago.
But he nearly didn’t make it to the ceremony. Hours before heading to Buckingham Palace, Murray tweeted: “In the middle of a drug test, hahaha, I’m goin to be late!!”
Murray, who is out of action after undergoing season-ending back surgery, attended the ceremony with his girlfriend and parents and spoke to Prince William for about a minute while receiving the honour.
“He just asked me about my surgery and asked me how I had been since Wimbledon,” said Murray, who added that he would be back training in four weeks.
