Stanislas Wawrinka, Cameron Norrie complete Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge line-up
- Three-time grand slam champion and British No 1 added to star-studded field for this month’s exhibition tournament at Victoria Park
- Hong Kong tennis chief Philip Mok promises ‘spectacular showcase’ and the ‘ultimate holiday treat for local sports fans’

The Hong Kong Tennis Association announced the updated line-up, with the two men completing a six-man field featuring three top 15 players on the tour, after Frances Tiafoe of the US pulled out because of an injury.
The exhibition tournament at Victoria Park continues the return of major ‘M’ Mark sporting events in the city, following the Hong Kong Masters snooker in October, Hong Kong Sevens rugby in November, and this month’s Hong Kong Squash Open.
Tickets for the 3-day event are available on Cityline, with day passes priced from HK$300 for the opening day on December 23, and going up to HK$800 on Christmas Day. VIP packages for the tournament selling at HK$3,000 per seat are also available via the HKTA.
HKTA president Philip Mok insisted the line-up will be attractive to local tennis fans, who have been starved of events since October 2019’s Hong Kong Open.
“We are thrilled to be hosting three top 15 players, and a multiple grand slam champion,” Mok said. “The return of top-level professional men’s tennis to the city is going to be a spectacular showcase of the very best that tennis has to offer and the ultimate holiday treat for local sports fans.”
