Facebook seeks users’ help in improving its algorithm with new ‘show more’ and ‘show less’ buttons

  • Facebook users will soon see the new buttons designed to give the social network more ‘time-bound’ signals, affecting news feeds for 30 to 60 days
  • The buttons are not designed to be used on ads but could be applied to such posts, Facebook said
