China’s e-sports market tops 100 billion yuan for the first time after official recognition boosts prospects

  • There are 470 million e-sports consumers in China, with about 76 per cent being male, according to iResearch
  • Mobile e-sports games and PC games accounted for 47.2 per cent and 24.7 per cent of total revenue respectively
