The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) is a Thai governmental body headquartered in Mueang Nonthaburi, Thailand. Its primary mission is to oversee public health, formulating and implementing policies to ensure the well-being of Thai citizens. The MOPH focuses on health promotion, disease prevention, medical care, and developing a sustainable healthcare system. Notably, it recently reclassified cannabis buds as a controlled herb, restricting their use strictly for medical purposes. The Ministry also played a significant role in achieving Universal Health Coverage in Thailand.
