Prudential Hong Kong Tennis Open 2015

The WTA International tournament, sponsored by insurance giants Prudential, will be held for the second time from October 10 to 18 at Victoria Park tennis stadium. Boasting prize money of US$250,000, the event has attracted seven-time grand slam winner Venus Williams. She will be joined by Jelena Jankovic, Samantha Stosur, Angelique Kerber, Alize Cornet and Caroline Garcia. Hong Kong No 1 Zhang Ling has been handed a wild card into the main draw. The 2014 edition, which marked the return of women’s tennis to Hong Kong for the first time since 1993, saw Sabine Lisicki beat Karolina Pliskova to claim the singles crown.
