Marin Cilic only needed 113 minutes to win the men's singles final against Kei Nishikori for his first Grand Slam title. Cilic won the last 10 sets of his tournament. In the women's singles event, Serena Williams won her 6th US Open title in just 469 minutes of play and without dropping a single set throughout the entire tournament.
