The State Council, a prominent Beijing-based governmental body, serves as the supreme administrative organ and executive arm of the National People’s Congress in the People’s Republic of China. Dedicated to the day-to-day governance of the country, its primary mission involves implementing laws, formulating administrative regulations, and overseeing national economic and social development plans. Its extensive areas of activity encompass economic management, education, foreign affairs, and public security, operating through 26 constituent departments. The State Council is central to China’s state apparatus, embodying the Central People’s Government.
