Shopping trolleys turned into wheelchairs helps poor Thai pensioners

Thai designer Apichai Inthutsingh has been turning old shopping trolleys into wheelchairs for pensioners. He said he was moved to design the conversions after seeing hundreds of frail elderly people in the country confined to their homes because they could not afford wheelchairs.
