Millions in Manila experience water shortage as city’s main reservoir hits critical low

Water levels have reached a critical low in Angat Dam, the principal water reservoir for Manila. 

The Philippine capital’s 13 million residents have experienced regular water cuts since the water crisis began in late March 2019, with no improvement as of early July due to an unexpectedly light rainy season.
