10 years after the Fukushima nuclear disaster, survivors are hopeful but worried

March 11, 2021 marks 10 years since a massive earthquake and tsunami that triggered nuclear meltdowns in Fukushima, Japan. A decade on, some survivors are optimistic about the future. But others remain haunted by fears over lingering radiation as officials encourage residents to return to the region.
