Leaning tower in Malaysia standing strong after more than 100 years

Malaysia has its own leaning tower – a Chinese-style building that was built in the 19th century during the British colonial era. Unlike its namesake – a taller 12th century stone tower in Pisa, Italy with a faulty foundation – the 19th century wood and brick tower in the Malaysian town of Teluk Intan started leaning after floods softened the ground beneath it.
