Veterinarians extract 1.7kg gallstone from elephant in Thailand

Veterinary surgeons in Thailand have removed a 1.7kg (3.7lbs) gallstone from a 50-year-old elephant. The team said Sai Thong nearly died of acute kidney failure, but was saved after a six-hour operation on March 30, 2021.
