Vietnam rolls out first urban railway in Hanoi to reduce traffic and environmental pollution

Vietnam opened its first ever urban railway line in Hanoi on November 6, 2021. Authorities say they hope the Chinese-built metro service will ease traffic congestion and pollution that has been a long-standing issue in the nation’s capital known for its dense crowds of motorbikes.
