Myanmar villagers settle temporarily on border with Thailand

Overcrowding in Thai refugee camps have prompted some civilians who fled Myanmar for Thailand to temporarily return to Myanmar. They set up makeshift tents along the Moei River and wade across the border to the Thailand side for food and aid. 

Since the coup in February 2021, civilians have been killed and displaced by clashes between the Myanmar military and resistance fighters.
