North Korea launches most powerful ballistic missile test since 2017, takes pictures from space

North Korea launched a Hwasong-12 “mid-range ballistic missile” on January 31, 2022, in what state media said was a flight carrying a test warhead fitted with a camera. The reclusive state’s most powerful weapons test since 2017 was also its seventh weapons launch in January alone, a record number in a single calendar month.
