Inspired by horror films, Japanese artist creates human flesh-like accessories

Japanese artist Masataka Shishido has created a series of hyper realistic flesh-like accessories, from a mouth-shaped coin purse to a “human skin” iPhone cover. Inspired by horror and science fiction films, Shishido’s idea was to combine daily objects with human flesh. After making his first artwork in 2017, Shishido to date has created 30 fleshy objects, even starting to sell these artwork online in 2020.
