Captain of football team rescued from Thai cave in 2018 dies in UK

One of the 12 boys rescued from a flooded cave in northern Thailand in 2018, reportedly died in the United Kingdom on February 14, 2023. Duangpetch Promthep was captain of the Wild Boars football team that became trapped deep inside a cave in Chiang Rai for 18 days before rescuers saved them.
