Elderly woman dies after being tasered, officer charged in Australia

A 95-year-old woman who was tasered by an officer in Australia has died a week after, police announced on May 24, 2023. Clare Nowland suffered from dementia and was living in a nursing home. The officer, Kristian White, reportedly used a stun gun on the victim as she approached him with a walking frame and a steak knife. New South Wales police say they have filed legal action against White.
