Cyclone Biparjoy looms over India and Pakistan as thousands evacuated

Landslides, extreme winds and heavy rain have been battering western India's Gujarat coast and neighbouring southern Pakistan as cyclone Biparjoy nears land. More than 180,000 people in India and Pakistan have been evacuated ahead of the powerful storm, whose name means “disaster” or “calamity” in Bengali.
