‘Scam operations scaling up’: anti-trafficking NGO Global Alms chief Mechelle Moore

Mechelle Moore, CEO of Global Alms, says the anti-trafficking NGO has seen a recent surge in trafficking victims on the Thailand-Myanmar border. Her organisation has assisted hundreds of individuals who were brought to the area under the false pretence that they were going to find jobs or meet a romantic partner. Moore says such scam operations are only expanding.
