Super typhoon Doksuri has made landfall in China’s southeastern Fujian province, with wind gusts as strong as 191km/h (118mph). The storm battered Taiwan on July 28, 2023, after causing severe damage in the Philippines. Strong gusts and heavy rainfall caused thousands of houses to lose power there.
