Caged monkeys enjoy annual buffet festival in Thailand for first time since round-up

Both wild and caged monkeys feasted their hearts out in the Thai city of Lopburi at the annual monkey buffet festival on November 24, 2024. It was the first time the city has hosted the event since the monkeys were rounded up and sterilised earlier in the year as part of a government campaign to control their numbers.
