Myanmar military destroys scam compounds at notorious KK Park

The Myanmar military said on November 9, 2025, it is in the process of destroying a scam centre compound located in the Thai-Myanmar border town of Myawaddy. The operation followed a recent military raid of the notorious KK Park, where thousands of scammers were reportedly found at work. The raid led to about 1,500 people fleeing across the border to Thailand.
