Filipino family turns home into winter wonderland with lights and ‘snow’

A family in Manila has been transforming their home into a winter holiday spectacle, featuring thousands of lights and artificial snowfall made from soap bubbles. The display, created by Filipino visual artist Margie Organo Tajon, has been drawing crowds since 2020, giving children, many of whom have never travelled abroad, a hint of what it is like to experience snow.
