All aboard for Pyongyang: China-North Korea train restarts after 6 years

The first passenger train in six years to head to Pyongyang departed from Beijing on March 12, 2026. The K27 train takes 24 hours to reach the North Korean capital. Tickets are restricted to business-visa holders such as entrepreneurs, officials and journalists.
