Credit Suisse eyes China's booming wealth management industry as it goes back to its roots

China’s multi trillion-dollar asset and wealth management industry presents a “big opportunity” for Credit Suisse and will be a core business focus as part of the company’s restructuring plans. Credit Suisse Chairman Axel Lemann made the remarks ahead of his attendance at the three-day Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit, set to get under way in Hong Kong on November 1, 2022.
