First female Chinese surfer promotes the sport on Hainan

CHINA, WANNING : China is just discovering the sport of surfing. For the past three years, the World Longboard Championships have been held in Wanning, on Hainan Island in the Gulf of Tonkin, the stomping ground of Darci Liu, an unlikely surfer who’s trying to promote the sport on the island.
