Migrating egrets flock to China’s perilous Snake Island
Enormous flocks of birds are flying to Snake Island in China for nesting and breeding. Around 800 Chinese egrets, an endangered species, are migrating to the island for the summer. However, they have picked a very dangerous place to breed. It's called Snake Island because of the dense population of venomous snakes that feed on migratory birds and their hatchlings.
