Beijing’s new international airport is expected to open in September

The Civil Aviation Administration of China said the Beijing Daxing International Airport will begin operations on September 30 as scheduled.

The new airport is designed to handle up to 72 million passengers and two million tonnes of cargo each year by the time it becomes fully operational in 2025.
