Father and daughter left hanging on giant swing in latest breakdown at a Chinese amusement park

A father and his daughter had to be rescued from a giant swing ride that broke down at an amusement park in China’s southeastern province of Anhui on April 13, 2019. The incident left them trapped 20 metres (66ft) above ground for more than half an hour.

The incident was the latest example in a series of mishaps that have left people stuck on Chinese amusement park rides.
