China’s navy celebrates 70th anniversary

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy is celebrating its 70th anniversary.

In China’s port city of Qingdao, a series of events are being held over four days, including a joint sea parade and musical performances.

Joining the celebrations are delegations from more than 60 countries and 18 vessels from more than 13 countries including Japan, the Philippines, Russia and South Korea.
