China gears up for 70th anniversary military parade

Ahead of the People's Republic of China’s 70th anniversary, Chinese soldiers practised  at a military base in Beijing for the National Day parade on October 1. They are trained by the military members from the Chinese honour guard  and the Chinese UN peacekeeping squad. Some15,000 soldiers will march across Tiananmen Square. More than 160 aircraft and 580 active weapon systems will be on display.
