Race to save ‘panda of the ocean’ after rare Chinese white dolphin spotted far from usual habitat

A Chinese white dolphin has been spotted for the first time in the Xi River in  southern China’s Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The rare sighting on March 12, 2021, prompted local authorities to guide the animal back to its usual habitat about 300km (186 miles) away.
