Over 200,000 endangered fish released into China’s Yangtze River to restore biodiversity

Conservationists in China released more than 200,000 endangered fish into the upper reaches of the Yangtze River on April 23, 2021. The project, which includes a six-year long monitoring programme, is part of efforts to restore the biodiversity of the Yangtze.
