President Xi Jinping congratulates China space station astronauts

Chinese President Xi Jinping spoke to the three astronauts who landed on Tianhe, the core module of the Tiangong space station on June 23, 2021. The trio are on a three-month mission to help build the space station. The Shenzhou-12 mission is the third of 11 missions to construct China’s first-ever space station, which is expected to be completed by 2022.
