The robots replacing humans in China’s service industry

Rising labour costs and a boom in advanced robotic technology have given rise to a bigger role for robots in China’s service sector. Some prime examples can be found in Shanghai, where one community canteen has deployed robots in its kitchen and then there is a cafe that has robots serving up lattes crafted by robotic arm baristas.
