Winter Olympics mascot Bing Dwen Dwen inspires panda-themed buzz-cut in China

The Beijing Winter Olympics panda mascot inspired a man in Shaoxing in eastern China to request a Bing Dwen Dwen haircut on February 9, 2022. Hairstylist Wang Jianfeng said it took about an hour to complete the buzz-cut for his client, and that since then he has had inquiries from dozens of other people about getting a similar look. Diehard Olympics fans across China have been queuing up to get their hands on versions of the Winter Games mascot, and factories have been scrambling to ramp up production to keep up with demand.
