Video appears to show wreckage from flight MU5735 that crashed in China’s southern Guangxi

Video that reportedly shows wreckage from the crashed China Eastern flight MU5735 in China’s southern Guangxi autonomous region is being shared on social media. State media says that the Boeing 737 crashed with 132 passengers and crew on board near the city of Wuzhou. Rescuers are on the way to the scene of the crash and state media says 123 passengers and nine crew members were on board the flight.

Correction: A previous version of this clip contained video circulating on Chinese media that has subsequently been found to have been footage from a recent forest fire and not the site of the plane crash.
